We have an award winning staff that includes professional interior designers as well as support and warehouse personnel. We are the only interior designers on Hilton Head Island with an on-site warehouse, trucks and a full-time installation crew on staff.

We have recently received the most prestigious accolade bestowed on an interior design firm, four coveted Aurora Awards for interior design in the twelve state region. History

Charles Fraser influenced many elements of Hilton Head Island throughout the years and Plantation Interiors is no exception. The business was started by Charles as Sea Pines Interiors to serve the interior design needs of his early villa complexes at the south end of the island. The first location opened in 1972 in South Beach. In 1974 Charles moved the growing business to Harbor Town while awaiting completion of the current building on Target Road. Busy with the growth of Sea Pines and other off-island developments, Charles sold Sea Pines Interiors in 1976. Expansion of the business to furnishing villas and homes in the new plantations opening around the island prompted the name change to Plantation Interiors. Current owner Dudley King purchased the firm in 1983 and the outdated building was expanded and completely renovated in 2001. Through the years Plantation Interiors has grown and evolved into a flourishing firm that has designed and furnished award winning homes, both locally and around the world.
